Transenlight - The Seven

Gene is the “metatext” of the transcendence. Translation is the process of translating mRNA(transcript from gene) into proteins. It is the moment that makes transcendence and divine information transmit into material in physical world. The artist morphs the gene segment into a physical form through imagination and algorithm(not generative), and in this way approaching the transcendent moment. All images appear in the film engaged and translate the pre-existed structures from the world gene/protein database. Viewers could be brought into the micro and macro of this alternative universe, which is at once a vision for the future and a tribute to the unseen infrastructure of our current existence.

基因是超验性的“元文本”，转译是基因超验性的信息转化为生命万物肉身的瞬间。

艺术家通过算法（并非生成算法）和原型形态学将基因片段转换为影像，影像中以不同方式融入了世界基因蛋白数据库的立体形态，这些形态都是先验的（A priori）。观者有机会被带入这既微观又宏观的宇宙，它既是对未来的愿景，也是对不可见的基础设施的存在的致敬。艺术家正在继续延展，创作出“关于元文本的数字生态圈”。
